GOATWHORE Added To Remaining SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND Dates

August 11, 2007

GOATWHORE has been added to the remaining Sounds of the Underground 2007 tour dates, including last night's (Friday, August 10) concert at Pop's in Sauget, Illinois and tonight's gig at Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. As a result, the band was forced to cancel its August 10 headlining show at Red 7 in Austin, Texas.

GOATWHORE will team up with EXODUS, ARSIS and WARBRINGER for a North American tour in January/February. GOATWHORE has also been added to the Metal Blade 25th Anniversary Tour, featuring headliners CANNIBAL CORPSE alongside THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE RED CHORD and THE ABSENCE. The trek will kick off September 6 in New Orleans.

HeavyMetalSource.com has posted a 10-minute video interview with Ben Falgoust of GOATWHORE conducted on July 14. 2007 at the Sayerville, New Jersey stop of the Sounds of the Underground tour. Watch the footage at YouTube.

GOATWHORE's video for the track "Forever Consumed Oblivion" can be viewed here. The clip was shot during GOD FORBID's Chains of Humanity Tour, on which GOATWHORE was direct support. Acclaimed director David Brodsky (GOD FORBID, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, GWAR) led the production for the eight-camera shoot in addition to handling the directing and editing duties.

GOATWHORE's third full-length album, "A Haunting Curse" (Metal Blade) was recorded at Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida with producer Erik Rutan (MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL). The band shot a video for its track "Alchemy of the Black Sun Cult" with director David Brodsky and the MyGoodEye crew last August in New York City.
